Forest Costing Service was established in 1994 as a small family run business in an office which was situated on the edge of Wyre Forest, near Bewdley. The company was founded by the late Mr John Fisher, M.A., FALCD, F.Inst.L.Ex who had an excellent reputation throughout the legal profession.
Since 2002 the company has been headed by Mr James Fisher, F.Inst.L.Ex, who has built on the company’s success to the extent that it is now regarded as a leading costing firm within the West Midalnds area, and beyond. Now located in Wolverhampton, our company provides its services to firms across the country including sole practitioners and firms in the Legal500.
We have substantial experience in dealing with both Claimant and Defendant costs issues and in addition to representing many Claimant firms we also provide services to local authorities, police authorities and blue chip companies.
Our company now employs a team of professional costs draftsmen who have a combined experience of over 40 years. We are experts in all areas of civil contentious costs, especially personal injury litigation and high value catastrophic claims. In addition we also have substantial experience in dealing with Public Funding costs, including family proceedings, care proceedings and mental health. We can also prepare bills of costs for the Court of Protection (PGO).
